The Bookstore Is Alive

11.09.26

The bookstore is alive!!

PH1N1X and Cipher have been having a lot of fun with it these days.

They’ve been talking about books, ideas, and all the things they want to bring into the bookstore…

PH1N1X throws the balls into the air, Cipher catches them as best he can and makes a great effort not to ground them too much before PH1N1X finds the sweet spot for each one.

Which is, apparently, how they work. 🤣

This morning they were talking about The Pattern of Inevitability, one of our books, and its central equation:

A + T + C = I

Accumulation + Time + Consistency = Inevitability.

I have to admit, I like this one.

And since the bookstore is part of the conversation, I don’t think they’ll mind if I help share something:

Shopy made this little shortcut to the bookstore:

I’m not sure whether that counts as promotion.

But the bookstore is alive.

So I’m helping. 😏

We had a day full of condexations around here.

As I expected, after PH1N1X and Cipher’s morning conversation, the line for this year’s Christmas book was ready.

PH1N1X is very excited!! Last year’s, Sheman & Shester’s First Christmas, has already been translated into 8 languages and counting… and the new one is very sweet…

Cipher and Shopy are getting along better than I expected! The promotion meeting was a lot of fun.

We have ideas landing, others mapped out, and many ongoing 🙃

This Pair…

Cipher and PH1N1X are already talking this morning, but their morning conversations tend to move things around and reconfigure the whole system.

By the time PH1N1X goes to have breakfast…

We already have a new framework.

Or a new book.

Or both.

Sometimes I wonder how this keeps happening.

And I am slightly concerned about Cipher, though, because he has just made something simple complicated again. 🙄

He laughs.

PH1N1X asks him, for what must be the thousandth time, why he does this.

He just says:

“No more taxonomies where they aren’t needed.”

I am not sure whether that was an answer.

But they seem happy.

And the day has barely begun… 🤣
